New RWC LM11 – Donated by IMB Bank
Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie are thankful for the support we receive from businesses in our area. The latest is IMB Bank which through a grant enabled us to purchase a new Rescue Water Craft which we received recently. The grant covered the full cost of the RWC. It has been allocated call sign Lake Macquarie 11 (LM11)
IMB representatives from the Newcastle Branch Luke Gibson and Colynne Dwer came down to check it out.
Our RWC Operator Josh Watson was on hand to show them over the vessel. The RWCs are an important part of our fleet which enables our unit to respond quickly to any incident on the Lake and particularly the bar at Swansea Heads.
